The Community Hospice of Saratoga is hosting its Thirteenth Annual "Touched by an Angel" event this year on Thursday, October 16th at the historic Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs.  This reception, attended by over 550 guests, is the premier social event of the fall season.  Every year Hospice invites hotels, businesses, restauranteurs, beverage & food purveyors, florists, volunteers, and rental companies to donate goods & services for this event.

Last year, "Touched by an Angel" was able to net $116,000 to support Hospice Programs & Services in Saratoga County.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Gideon Putnam Resort will be donating again to this great cause.  We will be delivering a classic dish with a modern twist, focusing on local sustainable ingredients.  Autumn Seafood Cioppino (Stew) - Sugar Maple Smoked Butter Fish, Shrimps, Scallops, Chorizo, Fall Harvested Squash Broth, and Crusty Savory Cranberry Bread.

Thursday, Spetember 4, 6:30 p.m. Wine Dinners at selected regional restaurants.  Specila Festival menus are paired with superb wines for your enjoyment and education.  Dinners are hosted by specially selected wineries giving you an opportunity to discuss fine dining and perfect wime accompaniments with food and wine experts.

Live on Stage - SPAC Amphitheatre Stage The not-to-miss party of the year!  An exclusive invitation to attend one of the most widely anticipated events of the year.  Dine, dance to live music and decant select wines on the stage of SPAC's Amphitheatre.  Bid on unusual items and rare wines at the Silent and Live Auctions.  Reserve early as seating is limited to 250.

September 6, Noon - 4:00 p.m. Grand Tasting begins at Noon Featured in elegant tents throughout the SPAC Grounds. Vintages from more then 200 fine wineries around the world  Artisanal and farm-fresh foods and tastings. Learn and share at a range of interesting lectures and seminars on wine, eating local, "green eating," farm to table ideas and more with noted wine and food personalities. Throughout the Grand Tasting, bid on luxuries, exceptional wines and original art at our Silent and Live Auctions.  Palate-pleasers prepared by the region's finest restaurants as well as popular newcomers to the dining scene.
