The Gideon Putnam Rooms & Suites

Nestled in the heart of Saratoga Spa State Park, The Gideon Putnam offers the comforts of modern lodging with the beauty of historic charm. All guestrooms are non-smoking and offer private bathrooms, flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning, in-room telephone with voicemail, Wi-Fi, iron with ironing board, coffee maker, hair dryer, in-room safe, daily maid service and a complimentary newspaper at our front desk.

All guestrooms have been recently renovated, and feature new carpet, paint and mattresses. Rollaways and pack and plays are available upon request. A $15 charge per night is applied to your stay for a rollaway.

Putnam Suite

Enjoy space and privacy with our Putnam Suites. Located on the 4th floor facing the front of the hotel, these spacious suites feature:

  • Separate bedroom with a king bed
  • Large adjoining living room/dining room area
  • Two bathrooms

Premium Porch Room

Located on the first, second and third floors in the west wing of the hotel, our Premium Porch Rooms overlook scenic Saratoga Spa State Park with features such as:

  • One king bed
  • French doors to a private, screened-in porch
  • Standard amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen HDTV with digital cable.

Choose between large porch rooms with bay windows, or smaller standard porch rooms.

Our Executive Suites provide spacious accommodations that include one king-size bed, an expansive sitting area and work space.

Deluxe Rooms

Our Deluxe Rooms include either one king-size bed, one queen-size bed or two queen-size beds, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen HDTV with digital cable. Deluxe rooms are located throughout the hotel.

As the only hotel located inside Saratoga Spa State Park, we are within a 10-15 minute walk of Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and within a 5-10 minute drive of downtown Saratoga Springs.

Yes, we are a pet-friendly property! We charge a pet fee of $60 per pet. Service animals are exempt from the pet fee.

Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am.
