June 27-28 FREIHOFER´S JAZZ FESTIVAL. This two-day event is a veritable who’s who of jazz featuring jazz legends as well as noteworthy newcomers. Enjoy Southern-style refreshments and fine-arts and exhibits and sale on the SPAC grounds.
DAY ONE of two jam-packed days and nights of jazz amidst one of the most spectacular park settings in the country. The casual approach taken by the facility allows families to take advantage of the spacious grounds with tents, gatherings, picnics and umbrellas. The varied display of craftspeople add to the festive weekend atmosphere. A unique feature is the Gazebo stage. Strategically located on SPAC´s back lawn, the gazebo serves as a showcase for emerging talents across the jazz spectrum and a space that allows fans a more up-close musical experience.

Patti LaBelle, the "Queen of Rock and Soul, The Gary Burton Quartet Revisited featuring five time Grammy winner Gary Burton with jazz guitarist Pat Metheny, bass guitarist Steve Swallow and drummer Antonio Sanchez. Herbie Hancock, Drummer and recent NEA Jazz Master Jimmy Cobb, joined by members of his "So What Band", Wallace Roney, Vincent Herring, Javon Jackson, Larry Willis & Buster Williams, Dred Scott Trio, Grammy award winner Wallace Roney, and the John Ellis Quartet.

CLASSICAL EVENTS
Parking Information. The main parking lot is located off Rte 50 and is open from dawn to the end of the event. Gates open 1 ½ hours before show time. There is additional parking available in the Saratoga Spa State Park. Ground Rules. Light Fare, food, wine and beer are available for sale on the grounds. Adult beverages are served in the informal Jazz Bar in the Hall of Springs before most classical performances and during intermission. Guests are welcome to bring the following items: Picnic, Wine or beer, Blankets. Strollers, Binoculars, Back-packs, Purses, and Small lawn chairs.
Persons with Disabilities.
Handicap parking is available in our main lot off Rte. 50 – it is also possible to drive to the main entrance and drop people off and then park your vehicle. Benches are provided in this area. The theatre runs mini-shuttles to and from both gates. The carts will transport you as close as possible to your section in the theatre. During intermissions and at the end of the performance the carts will pick you up where they dropped you off and return you to the main gate. Phonic Ear is provided for those that may need assistance in hearing the event being presented. Please ask ushers for assistance. Handicap bathrooms are located in our concession area. When ordering tickets – please be sure to tell the person taking your order of any special arrangements you may need ie: sight, hearing, or seating.
