Saratoga State Park Admission


The Gideon Putnam Resort is located in the heart of the Saratoga Spa State Park.

Vehicle admission fees of $8 per car are charged May through October for picnic areas and access to the Peerless Pool Complex. Call prior to your visit, as hours, fees and operating seasons may change.

Saratoga Spa State Park is open year-round from 8 a.m. to sunset.

Park Rentals


Picnic shelters at Saratoga Spa State Park may be reserved from May through Columbus Day. Snowshoes are available in the winter.

Park Directions


Saratoga State Park is located one mile south of downtown Saratoga Springs. From I-87, take Exit 13N and travel three miles north on Route 9. The park entrance is readily visible from the road.
 DID YOU KNOW?  The classic beauty of the Victoria Pool in the Saratoga Spa State Park is timeless.  Built during the Depression as part of the Saratoga Reservation, the pool opened in 1935 as part of the hydrotherapy program at the Spa and was the first heated pool in the country.  It's unheated now, but forever cool.
