Guests from around the country take part in the mineral springs. Regular bathing in mineral water is considered by many to be an important factor in preventive health care also known as hydrotherapy. The mineral water is combined with hot fresh water to bring the water temperature to 97º Fahrenheit; this keeps the carbonation at its peak. You can also choose to bathe in one of our four heated mineral baths. Using the mineral springs can have physical and psychological benefits, reducing stress and strengthening the body´s overall functioning.
The New York Roosevelt Baths & Spa has recently been listed in the Top 10 New York State Green Destinations and offers a full menu of services, including mineral baths, massages, facials, scrubs, body wraps, waxing, manicures, pedicures and hair styling. Any choice will leave you feeling revitalized and refreshed.
The Roosevelt Baths & Spa is just a 10-15 minute stroll across the park from the Gideon Putnam Resort. Use of the relaxation room, steam room and locker room facilities are complimentary for resort and spa guests.

The Fitness Center is now located at the Gideon Putnam hotel for the hotel guests. Memberships are not available.
