Appointments and Reservations
We strongly recommend you schedule spa appointments prior to your arrival. Reservations are subject to availability and must be guaranteed with either a credit card or Gideon Putnam room reservation number. The Roosevelt Baths & Spa is open daily from 7am to 7pm unless otherwise noted.

Mineral Baths
Each bath is set up for individual use to ensure your privacy. Our staff has been trained to draw the mineral baths to the proper temperature (97-100 degrees) by adding a minimal amount of hot, fresh water to the natural, cold mineral water. Any deviation may cause dizziness and excessive perspiration.
What to bring
If you choose to use the fitness facility, you will need workout clothes and appropriate shoes. We will provide a robe and sandals at the spa. If you feel more comfortable, please bring your bathing suit as the steam room is a bathing suit optional area. Lockers are provided for your personal belongings. We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal items. Please do not bring jewelry and other valuables. As a courtesy to other guests, we ask that cell phones be turned off during your visit.
Arrival to the Spa
Please check in at the Spa Reception Desk 20 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. This will allow you to relax and set your mind to a peaceful, tranquil mode. Please remember that each service is scheduled precisely and will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed. Arriving late may result in a shortened service.
Tours
Due to the privacy of our guests, tours of the facility are not allowed unless arranged in advance.
Medical Concerns
Upon arrival to the spa, you will complete a brief health form to assist the Spa Therapists in providing you with the best possible experience and to ensure maximum safety and comfort. If you are pregnant, avoid treatments using heat and deep pressure, including the steam room. Any pertinent health conditions that may affect your spa experience must be approved by a medical professional.
Age Requirements
Minimum age for a mineral bath or massage is 16. Children 15 and under are not permitted in the bath and fitness areas. Children age 12 and up may receive salon and facial services. Children under 12 may receive salon services if accompanied by an adult.
Prices and Gratuities
Prices are subject to change without notice. Gratuities for the staff are at your discretion: 18-20% is customary. Envelopes are available for your convenience and may be left at the front desk.

Directions: North/South on Route 87 (Northway) Take exit 13N to route 9. Travel approximately 3 miles. At the fourth stoplight, turn left into the Saratoga Spa State Park. Take a left onto Roosevelt Drive, through the four-way stop, until the road comes to an end. Turn right and follow the road to Roosevelt Baths and Spa.
